The fact that light travels at 186,000 miles per second is just absolutely mind boggling! At this rate it has the capacity to effortlessly move around the Earth 7.5 times every second. As it travels it illumines and leaves energy behind. That’s right, as it circles 7.5 times every second, it illuminates and energizes. Without it's phenomenal role, planet earth would cease to exist.
Contained in this fact is the important lesson that we too circle or travel into spaces or places daily, others periodically. In many respects, our interactions with these spaces and places are great opportunities to illumine and energize....to light-up and vitalize something or someone; but do we? While in all fairness we all have our down moments, understanding how we impact the environments we interact with is a "big one" we should not ignore.
The workplace is among the major spaces a meaningful percentage of people continue to indicate they are darkened and deflated in, rather than illumined and energized.
Leaving some light and energy behind is absolutely vital and here is the thing... the illumination and energy we leave behind as we interact with this place or that place, this person or that person, is connected to the energy we find when we circle and interact with this place and that place... this person and that person.
