Catherine Asiimwe

Catherine Asiimwe, is an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 9 years of finance, tax, audit and governance experience. She holds a Master’s Degree of Business Administration (Finance), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP) a member of Project Management Institute, USA.

She completed a Leadership in Public Management and is a Mandela Washington Fellow. Catherine has over several years, distinguished herself as a key contributor to initiatives in public sector risk management, internal controls, governance processes and value for money in doing business.

She is a member of the internal audit sub-committee of the Certified Accountants’ Council in Uganda. Additionally, she sits on the Public Sector committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Uganda. In 2017 received the “Young Accountant of the Year Award” for her contribution to the accountancy profession in Uganda.
