Failure is a Chapter

Writer: Jerry DaC BlenmanJerry DaC Blenman

Failure can feel like a dead end, a sign that things aren’t working out as planned. In reality, however, many who experienced failure, have in hindsight defined it as an essential part of the journey. In many respects it’s really the soil where #resilience, #wisdom, and #strength take root.

Lynda Woolford-Richards articulated this so very well in Alison S D Beckles, recently aired 🌟Best Fails🌟 podcast when she reminded the audience to ”approach your failures, not as a fullstop, but as a chapter in your book”. This powerful phrase that spoke to #resilience, and #adaptability is in many respects the anchor for a #mindset that pushes past circumstance and is determined to #learn, #grow, and #thrive in any given situation.

This is important, as it’s so easy to believe that failure means we’ve reached the end of our potential and for some the end of the road. What if failure, however, was actually a redirection, a lesson, or even a setup for something #greater?

If you have passed through some deep waters, burning experiences, and hurtful moments and came out on the other side, one thing is certain... those setbacks would have built some character and carved out some valuable insights for your life.

Be reminded - FAILURE IS NOT THE END - Many of the great success stories over the years have often been built on the foundation of failure - men and women who struggled and faced countless unsuccessful attempts at realizing their dreams; but guess what... they didn’t stop. They used failure as #fuel #for #growth.

Many of us have learnt that growth doesn’t always happen in ideal conditions: so listen, be encouraged, keep going, keep learning.

You are destined to bloom and your blooming time is your blooming time. Stay #rooted, stay #strong, and #flourish.
