Revenue Modelling for Business

Included in this course are modules covering the following:

  • Module 1 - Context, Concepts and Theories of Revenue - In this session we will give context to and examine the defining concept and context of revenue. As well, we engage in a summary comparative analysis between pricing and revenue. Are they the same? If not, what are the differentiating factors?


  • Module 2 - Industry, Revenue Sources & Cycle Management – this practical session will explore the question of “Revenue: generated or created?”. By way of case analysis, we will examine practical elements of this question and its differentiating relevance across industries.


  • Module 3 - Revenue Models: Strategies & Practical Considerations - In this all-important session, we examine a series of revenue models, and give context to the suitability of one model over another based on industry structure


  • Module 4 - Techniques for Revenue Forecasting and Run Rate Management - this practical session takes a step by step look at the applied principles for revenue forecasting using an actual forecasting template. Participants will be provided with a blank template for post session application of principles in practice.
