Master the Audit of Asset Management Systems (AMS) based on ISO 55001

The training program for ISO 55001 Lead Auditor is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills that are necessary to enable them to perform audits of an Asset Management System (AMS) by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques. Participants in this training program will be provided with the expertise to plan and conduct both internal as well as external audits in accordance with the ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification processes.


The training course also includes practical exercises that enable participants to gain mastery over audit techniques and become proficient in managing an audit program, audit team, communication with customers, and conflict resolution. 


Upon completing the program, participants can take the exam and apply for the PECB Certified ISO Lead Auditor credentials. This certification serves as an indication of the proficiency and competence of individuals in auditing organizations based on the best practices.

The “PECB Certified ISO 55001 Lead Auditor “exam completely meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competency domains:

  • Domain 2 - Asset Management System (AMS)

  • Domain 3 - Fundamental audit concepts and principles

  • Domain 4 - Preparation of an ISO 55001 audit

  • Domain 5 - Conducting an ISO 55001 audit

  • Domain 6 - Closing an ISO 55001 audit

  • Domain 7 - Managing an internal ISO 55001 audit programme


After successfully completing the exam, you can apply for one of several ISO 55001 credentials (see attached course brocheur)

  • Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course

  • In case of exam failure, you can retake the exam within 12 months for free
